Something that needs to rest

And there is someone somewhere
Desperately trying to believe in a fair world

And the universe heaves a huge sigh
For the world and its inhabitants..
.. Never played fair


~ Just a few things i've been discussing..
If you kill, must you be killed? Is that fair? What are the religious implications? social implications?
Taking some1s life is a big deal though, and I think it is punishable by death. Why should you live when you deprived someone of life? What is your excuse, seriously? Bad upbringing? poverty?  But how does a murderer's death affect his/her innocent family members? Is it really alright for the victim's family to scream for blood? It gets complicated easily, doesn't it? I don't have the answers, but killing someone is a big deal, when its intentional.

Always two sides

Intently, I scrutinize

There's a situation at hand

I lent a listening ear

My opinion is needed

Now knife in hand

I'm ready to slice

So a-slicing i go

Getting right into it

I'm left with the last piece

More grease to my elbows

I keep slicing

But how is it that 

I'm no better now than when I started

For no matter how thin I slice it

There are always two sides

And I no not which side to pick

So here is a suggestion

Since my opinion is so sought after

Let's all kiss and make up

~ Let there be peace, Let there be light, Let there be happiness, Love, not war, people, love not war! For everyone has their own version of a story. Sometimes its easier to figure out who is at fault, but other times its just too damn hard. Its way easier to just forget past hurts and let peace prevail. You know I love me some peace, love & happiness...so slice that beef, lets have a barbecue, I'm hungry!! :-)
