'Groovy'-'Moving'-'Awe-Inspiring' Love

When I'm feeling blue, all I have to do
Is take a look at you, then I'm not so blue
When you're close to me, I can feel your heart beat
I can hear you breathing near my ear
Wouldn't you agree, baby you and me got a groovy kind of love

Like an episode of Grey's Anatomy
Like my many favorite songs that move me to tears
Like my many favorite songs that make me wanna dance
Like an emotional poem that seeps into my soul
Like my favorite Bible Verse ...
... ooooh ...
You move me

Anytime you want to you can turn me into
Anything you want to, anytime at all
When I kiss your lips, ooh I start to shiver
Can't control the quivering inside
Wouldn't you agree, baby, you and me got a groovy kind of love, oh

You move me ... You move me
Fingers slowly searching and exploring
Hot tongue licking, sucking, lips kissing, nibbling
Like a slow deep breath, you take me in ..... breathtaking
Like a warm bubble bath, you ease right into me
You smell me, You squeeze me, You taste me
.. Like a hurricane, Like an earthquake
You move me

When I'm feeling blue, all I have to do
Is take a look at you, then I'm not so blue
When I'm in your arms, nothing seems to matter
My whole world could shatter, I don't care
Wouldn't you agree, baby, you and me got a groovy kind of love

Like that soothing cup of tea when I have a sore throat
Like a comforting hug from my best friend forever
Like a warm blanket wrapped around my shoulders
Like a scarf that protects my chest against the cold
Like a bite of belgian chocolate that melts in my mouth
... dang ...
You move me

We've got a groovy kind of love
We've got a groovy kind of love

Fireflies
Butterflies
Bear-hugs
Glass of wine
Chocolate covered strawberries
You and Me
Us

We've got a groovy kind of love
We've got a groovy kind of love

** I know I could have found a much better photo, but i didn't cos i think this is funny and cute. lol. Besides, i wanted something light, before people start getting all emotional up in this joint. Lol. Oh and excuse me for not mincing words, and giving such graphic details.

Inspiration-
                     1. A friend. I originally wrote it for that friend. Then I came up with the whole mixing music with poetry (if u choose to call it poetry) thing, and decided, oh in a weird sorta way it fits so well with the song i want to use. So I said, oi you! The poem is going public. Had to change it up a bit though, so that it would fit with the theme. h
                     2. Groovy kinda Love - Phil Collins
It's an all time favorite. Probably because my parent's played it a lot on sundays. haha. And I remember thinking, ah but this guy 'groovy'? Like seriously, ‘groovy’? Is that the best word he could come up with? Of course I grew to understand later on that sometimes, yes, 'groovy' is the only word one can come up with. lol. Amusing.

I think the next one I'm gonna do will be 'diamonds on the soles of her shoes' by Paul Simon, because my dad killed my ears with that one too, but he thought it was really special because twas on Paul Simon's 1986 album, and I was born in 1986, and he loved Paul Simon.. n he loved me.. lol, need i say more. He said I should always walk and talk like I had diamonds on the soles of my feet :-)

Forgotten

I once knew this song
I loved this song to bits
I loved it for the lyrics
I loved it for the instrumentals

It made me dance
It made me jump
It made me laugh
It made me cry
It made me feel everything
It made me feel nothing

I haven't heard this song in ages
If I hear this song anywhere
I cannot confidently say
'That's my song'
I try to sing along
Try to remember the lyrics
Just for the heck of it
But everything has faded away
I try to dance
I try to jump
A force prevents me from doing so

I once knew this song
I thought it was a lovely song
I danced so beautifully to it
I danced so gracefully to it
I danced with such crazy passion
I sang with no inhibitions

I know I loved this song to bits
I try to remember
How I danced
How I laughed
How I cried
Yet no matter how hard I try
I cannot remember this song

Do I care that I do not remember?
Not particularly
For if I could forget
Then it is not 'my' song, is it?

I once knew this song
But I know it no more
I once loved this song
But I love it no more

                     ~ Inspired by R.S.
                         For Pizzle.....Response

* There is no need for a pointless attempt to play broken strings when the music will never sound the same...its even worse when you can't remember what u r supposed to play..cos 90!

Disclaimer : So it seems I need a disclaimer for this one as well, since people keep asking me what or who I'm talking about..again kokonsa ppl want to know, so here it goes...this has nothing to do with me my dearies, as u can CLEARLY see, it was inspired by R.S. and written for Pizzle..if you cannot step in anyone's shoes for a second and write/think from their perspective, well, I can. hehe. I am inspired mainly by conversations I have with others, tryna get in other people's head (take waiting for you, for example), and largely by music (my love). So ya, there u have it, enjoy :-)

ODE TO JOY

Inspired by Ludwig van Beethoven - Symphony No. 9 in D Minor, Op. 125, "Choral", and Allegro

The opening of the first movement grows out of a void
A musical journey from darkness to light
Like the sound of an orchestra tuning
Erupting out of calm like a scream in the night
The relatively placid develops with maximum tension and drama
Bridging the waters from classical art form to something else

The second movement begins
Hammer blows followed by skittering
Several variations, a tug of war it is

Into the third movement we go
The tune is quite profound and full of warmth
The melody becomes freer
The strings set an almost ethereal aura
The theme progresses even more
Increasing in volume and pace
But when it seems like it is coming to a close
A loud fanfare intrudes to wake us

The famous finale is the strangest of all four movements
One at a time, themes from the previous three are re-introduced
Passages of high-wire vocalizations intensify the experience
An 'inner symphony' within a symphony
Freude! Freude!
Joy! Joy!

~ Subject to your own interpretation.
ps. Beethoven composed this deaf!

~ For 'meow'! listening to the symphony TWICE paa..stress!
