I am greeted by your bitter sneer
You do not bother to utter a word
You despise me
I can see it in your sunken eyes
Your eyes tell stories
Stories of hunger, pain, and poverty
I can see it in your Rawlings Chain
In your bad complexion
And again in your eyes that burn with fury
How you despise me
You look at my pot belly
And snort
If you had the chance
You would dice me into a million pieces
For in your eyes
I have ripped you off
I have made bad decisions
And taken many risks
Now you are unemployed
With no hope for the future
I see it differently though
I was only being logical
A utility maximizing individual
In a capitalistic world
I call it my empire
You call it the International Bank of Idiots
I call it my government
You call it the Banana Republic
Its unfortunate you don't have in hiding
A stash on the Cayman Islands
Its unfortunate you cannot pay your loans
But please do not sneer at me
Or lynch me because i put your life in Peril
Certainly I do not appreciate your comments
Those nasty words
The name-calling
And the 'character defamation'
Saying I made-off with your money
Even my pot belly has had its fair share
Of your venomous tongue
I may not be physically fit
But certainly I am 'fiscally fit'
And that's more than I can say for you
So why don't you crack a smile
And let us pray for a stimulus
You need a job
And I need my bonus.
