I had a plan
The risks involved, I had not examined
Or maybe I simply did not care
But I had a plan
Everything was just right
And the time to act had come
Your eyes had strayed for awhile
You did not really check up on me
Or give me any sort of advice
Yet I didn't question your parental skills
For it meant more room for me to play outside
So I carried out my plan
And it worked out perfectly for me.. for everyone
You were actually impressed with me
Till it all came crushing down
For you didn't figure out the intricate details
Until my world had gone to the dogs
Now to prevent a domino effect
You cruised back into my life
Giving me everything you thought I needed
Sometimes at the expense of others
And then things started picking up
Headwinds abated... but still heavy rains
There is hope for the future
But I have many flooded rivers to cross
The side-effects of our actions
I will have to stomach for a long time
Yet those hurdles I will jump alone
I am weak, hence, I am cautious
But I need not be fearful
For how else will I forge forward
If I do not want to move my feet
Now you have to watch me from a distance
As I make the journey alone
Please don't take your eyes off me
Lest I lose my way again
And come up with another 'not so bright' idea
For It seems I'm not as smart as I thought
Nonetheless, policy support will likely remain in place for sometime. Recovery will likely be slow and protracted, and a benign (ok, maybe not as benign as some people might think) inflation backdrop should allow the Fed greater flexibility in nursing financial conditions back to sustainable norms. Recovery, however, lacks a major leading force though, the consumer, but business spending prospects are brightening.
Angst (lol, i just learnt this word, please allow me to use it) about exit strategies is likely overdone and the risks are two-sided. Over time, fiscal sustainability is likely to prove a greater threat to the market and economic stability. The government needs to gradually pull out, but must stick to better regulatory practices.
~ So how i got my inspiration- I was reading an article at work by some guy called Robert V. Diclemente, he writes articles for the work people. Anyway, since I had time on my hands I just kept thinking about the current economic downturn, plus government intervention, and my thoughts on these issues.
I hope i didn't bore you :-) I shall be back with dem romance romance tins soon enough, don't shake or shiver..hehe... or atleast i'll hit u with love gone sour our sum'n.
